Today is a very good day. The San Diego Reader Best of 2022 released the final results of the Best Of series. Happy to announce that Starfish placed in top 3 of 2 categories: Best Filipino Restaurant and Best Caterer. Wow! I didn't expect to have such dumb luck. But hey, I'd rather be lucky than good. 🙂
Thank you to all of you for your continued support of this young establishment. I'm so grateful for everyone who's helped make this possible.

Cuisses de Grenouilles or frog legs are now a thing at Starfish. Choose French sautéed style, Cajun style or Hot Buffalo style. Served with wild mushrooms and rice. Frog legs are one of my favorite proteins in the world! Come and try them out.

Starfish is hosting its very first "Kamayan Feast" tonight (7/22/22) from 6-830 pm. We will be CLOSED to the public from 4 pm today.
Excited for tonight's private event! It's a culinary cultural experience that's very unique to the Philippines.
If you were unable to secure the SOLD OUT tickets to the event, don't dismay. There will be plenty of private dinners coming up soon.
Here's some of what we are serving at tonight's feast: Skirts on Fire, Spicy Pork Belly Sisig, Prawns, Fried Frog Legs, California King Salmon, Scallops, Beach Please, and more! Don't you wish you could be here?
