The Pizza Hut BOOK IT! program is still going strong, and now kids can take part all summer long through the BOOK IT! Summer of Stories program. Parents can download the BOOK IT! app, set reading goals, track progress, and when those goals are reached, kids earn a free Personal Pan Pizza.

I still remember the excitement of getting that little certificate and knowing pizza night was officially happening. Some rewards just hit different when you’re a kid.

Public transport: Take the Red Line trolley to the University Avenue station and walk one block east. Alternatively, take bus numbers 7 or 11 and get off at the University Av & Idaho St stop.
Driving/parking: If travelling west on University Avenue, turn right onto Mississippi Street and then left into the parking lot. If travelling east on University Avenue, turn left onto Arizona Street, then left onto Louisiana Street and left again into the parking lot.

Directions for the Chicken Restaurant:
Public transport: Take bus number 7 or 11 and get off at the University Av & Richmond St stop. Alternatively, take the Green Line trolley to the SDSU Transit Center and transfer to bus number 41.
Driving/parking: Turn south onto Richmond Street from University Avenue, then turn right onto El Cajon Boulevard. The restaurant will be on your right-hand side. Parking is available in a small lot next to the building.
