Hillcrest Brewing Company is a unique pizza place, chicken restaurant, and pub all in one. As the World's First "Out and Proud LGBT Brewery," it's located right next to the iconic Hillcrest Pride Flag. The menu features handcrafted beer, stone-fired pizzas, salads, and chicken wings that capture the essence of San Diego's most colorful neighborhood. Customers can choose from HBC's own nine micro-brews or 16 local guest taps. With a welcoming atmosphere and daily Hoppy Hour specials from 4-6pm, this establishment is perfect for gathering with friends or engaging with the brew master. Open noon on weekends and 4pm weekdays, they serve until 11pm nightly with their tap house closing at midnight.

If coming from downtown San Diego, take I-5 N towards CA-163 N and exit at University Ave/Mission Valley. Turn left onto Washington Street and then turn right onto University Ave. Continue heading east on University Avenue until you reach the location.
