It's been a while but guess what....
I've got Tuesday on the brain. It's such a weird day of the week, right? It doesn't have to be weird! Come by AWOL Canteena for Taco Tuesday and we'll fill that belly full of tacos and who know's what else?! What else? You'll just have to find out when you get here! In case you've wondered what's happening back there on the patio now. Welcome the new Rosemary & Thyme Cafe!
If you found yourself waking up looking at the back of a head saying "Where am I? What did I do last night? (and more importantly) Where are we going for breakfast?! You two can swing on down to Rosemary and Thyme for the 8am-noon hours for the Two for One breakfast specials. We'll be open for your pancake enjoyment 8am to 2pm Fri, Sat and Sun. We'll have champagne ready to go for some mimosas. Re-hydrate with some of our fresh fruit!

We hosted a podcast! The details of the evening are still a little hazy so bear with me. We had the pleasure of hosting Navy Veteran J M Balbuena, author of The Successful Canna-preneur and her podcast, along with a some of her friends in the cannabis industry to talk about different relavent topics that affect us locally. This will be the first of many opportunities we have to advocate for the LGBTQ+ Cultural District. The AWOLCanteena is located on University Avenue in San Diego. To reach the restaurant via public transport, you can take the Green Line trolley to the 46th Street station and walk east along University Ave for about 10 minutes until you reach your destination.
If you prefer to drive, take CA-94 E and exit at College Ave. Turn right onto College Ave and then turn left onto University Ave. Continue driving east along University Ave for about 2 miles until you see the restaurant on your left-hand side.
There are a few parking options available near AWOLCanteena including metered street parking, a small parking lot behind the building, and limited free parking along some of the nearby side streets.
