Bistro At The Pier is a cozy coffee shop located in North The Strand that offers an unforgettable experience with its Lavatzza coffee and ocean views. Since 2016, the restaurant has been serving both locals and tourists with a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere. They have also partnered with Cafe Vergnano from Italy to offer cappuccinos, espressos, and lattes to their customers.

🌊 NEW at Bistro at the Pier — our Community Board! ☕️

We love Oceanside, and we want to use our little spot by the pier to support the people, businesses, ministries, and organizations doing meaningful work in our community.

Each month, we’ll highlight one organization both here at the Bistro and on social media.

📚 This month we’re highlighting Freedom Classical Christian School, located right here in Oceanside and serving families throughout North County.

Freedom has been serving students since 2021 with classical Christian education from Kindergarten–12th grade, small classes, strong academics, biblical worldview, and an incredible opportunity for upper-school students:

🎓 In-person college dual enrollment right on their campus.

Students beginning as early as 8th grade can take accredited college courses taught in person by professors through Christian university partnerships. High school students can begin working toward an associate degree while still completing high school, giving them a major head start toward college and their future.

Their college classes officially kick off Monday, September 14!

🌊 For over 10 years, we’ve had the incredible privilege of serving our Oceanside community and welcoming visitors from all over the world. ❤️☕

One of my favorite parts of owning Bistro at the Pier has never just been the coffee—it’s the people.

Over the years we’ve met families, military members, surfers, tourists, missionaries, and travelers from nearly every corner of the globe. Some stop by once, while others make Bistro their first stop every time they come back to Oceanside.

This photo brings back a special memory from 2017 when we had the opportunity to meet Australian professional surfer Alysse Cooper and her father during the Supergirl Pro. They became regulars during the event, stopping by multiple times for their favorite cappuccinos. Moments like these remind us that a simple cup of coffee can create friendships and memories that last for years.

Thank you to every local customer who has made us part of your daily routine, and to every visitor who has found their way to our little coffee shop by the beach. You are the reason we’ve been here for over a decade.

Here’s to many more years of serving Oceanside—one cup at a time. ☕🌴

Since 2016, we’ve been proudly serving our Oceanside community with handcrafted drinks inspired by the people who call this place home.

Our Signature Horchata Latte has become a longtime favorite, blending creamy horchata with rich espresso for a smooth, comforting drink that’s been loved for nearly a decade.

And our Mexican Mocha Espresso Latte brings together bold espresso, rich chocolate, warm cinnamon, and a touch of Mexican spice for a perfectly balanced latte that’s full of flavor and one of our signature classics.

As a small, locally owned coffee shop, one of our favorite things has always been experimenting with flavors that reflect and celebrate our incredible community. Seeing these drinks become customer favorites over the years has been one of the greatest compliments we could receive.
