In memory of our friend Philip. In service of something bigger. 🕊️
On Friday, May 8th from 6:00–8:30pm, we’re hosting our second annual fundraising dinner at Mission Valley Breakfast Company in support of the Philip Collum Corazón de Vida Scholarship.
is a nonprofit that helps orphaned and abandoned children in Baja California with food, shelter, and — most importantly — education. The scholarship is dedicated to kids aging out of orphanages, giving them a real shot at college, trade school, and a life of their own.
Philip was a close friend of Johan’s, Founder of Rise & Shine Hospitality Group. Philip poured his heart into this mission. After losing him to cancer a few years ago, we started hosting these dinners to carry his legacy forward. Last year was unforgettable — and just like before, 100% of ticket sales (not just proceeds) will go directly to the scholarship fund.
Come for the food. Stay for the cause. Leave knowing you helped change a kid’s life. 💛
