Water Grill San Diego Water Grill is a seafood restaurant and bar & grill located on J Street in San Diego. They offer a raw bar with 16 different oysters daily, shellfish platters, live crabs and lobsters, 3-4 different whole fish prepared in various styles, as well as 6-8 different fin fish. In addition to craft cocktails, they have 20 beers on draught. Water Grill is known for being San Diego's seafood destination and serves American (New), Seafood, and Sushi style food. - If coming from south of San Diego, take I-5 North and exit on 6th Ave towards Downtown. Turn left onto 6th Ave, then right onto Broadway and finally left onto Front St. Turn left again on Market St and then right onto 1st Ave until you reach J St.
