Shibori, a brand new flavor, is now on the menu at An’s Dry Cleaning!
We start by blending freshly brewed jasmine tea, from , with strawberries to get a fruity and floral gelato base. We then house-make mochi cake, and coat every piece with rice flower and powdered sugar.
Shibori is the perfect flavor to start spring with, come in and try it out!

Desperado x An’s - Jan 17
In Sicily they put gelato on brioche. Some call it the Italian ice cream sandwich. We’ve teamed up with the boldest bageler in the west (aka the best bagel in San Diego) to create the sandwich.
A slightly unusual pairing? Sure. But trust us, high quality gelato and high quality bagels go hand in hand.
Desperado Bagels is popping up at An’s Dry Cleaning (North Park) and An’s Electronics Repair (Ocean Beach), serving their fresh baked, hand rolled, award winning, New York-style bagels. Fresh bagels will be toasted on-site and schmeared with your choice of any of three new gelato schmears, specifically imagined for this pairing. The result - the Desperado Sandwich. The San Diego version of an Italian classic.

Christmas is coming. The city is being taken over by twinkle lights, Mariah Carey, mistletoe, and peppermint. Do you already feel run down, even…fatigued by it all? If you long for the good ol’ days of October…a simpler time filled with webs, ghouls, and ghosts, this is for you. Through the end of the year, An’s Electronics Repair is offering Christmas Fatigue Therapy (link in bio).
When you come visit us in OB, you’ll find a peaceful setting, free of jingle bells, Santa, and garland. A place you can unwind and enjoy your non-holiday gelato surrounded by friendly clowns and lovable spiders. It’s like a palate cleanser for your Christmas taste buds.
No warm drinks here - we are offering a cold, spiced caramel apple cider slushy starting Friday, 11/21. We make our caramel apple cider from scratch and gently freeze into a slushy consistency. You can get it by itself, but the pros will ask to have it served over their favorite gelato. Recommended pairing – Mixmaster (salted butter, vanilla).
If you ARE looking for holiday decorations, both Dry Cleaning and Hatmakers are already lit and will be serving hot caramel apple cider starting Friday, 11/21.
