Recently, some inaccurate claims have been circulating on social media about the chicken we serve at The Smoking Goat. We want to address this clearly and openly.
We use Jidori® Chicken. Free-range. Humanely raised on small California farms. No hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. Delivered fresh. It’s one of the most respected premium chicken brands in the country, trusted by Michelin-starred restaurants and serious chefs who refuse to compromise on quality.
Chef Fred Piehl built this restaurant on a foundation of sourcing the best possible ingredients for our guests. That standard hasn’t changed.
We’ve chosen not to engage further with those spreading misinformation, but we did want our community, the people who actually dine with us, to hear the truth directly from us.
