Ascend Coffee Roasters, formerly known as Old Cal Coffee & Eatery, is the oldest coffee house in San Marcos and offers a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. In addition to gourmet sandwiches and salads, the menu features vegan and gluten-free options. The coffee house also serves up a full line of gourmet coffees, teas and now offers Gelato Italian Ice Cream. With live music playing every weekend, Ascend Coffee Roasters is a great place to relax and enjoy the local flavor.
