For the past 5 years, I’ve cooked and served Thanksgiving plates every single year.
I’ve fed the same young ladies, and honestly… my heart is heavy even typing this.

This year, I was invited to a friend’s Thanksgiving, and for the first time, I won’t be cooking on Thanksgiving Day. 🥺
So instead of letting it go completely, I’m running it back on November 30th — because the love still deserves to be served. 🤎

I am delighted to share that this month will be our final month of serving at the storefront, although it is a melancholic ending given my modest beginnings at the soul swapmeet, Diego eats, elk lodge, and even sponsored events at a naval base. I am prepared to leverage the permits secured through the Sister Cities Project and proceed with a food truck. Sister Cities Project

If you are traveling by public transport, you can take the Green Line trolley to the 12th & Imperial Transit Center and then transfer to Bus Route 11 towards SDSU. Get off at the University Ave & 30th St stop and walk a couple of blocks to reach the destination.

Alternatively, if you are driving, take I-805 S or I-5 S towards San Diego and exit on University Ave. Head east on University Ave for about 2 miles until you reach the restaurant. On-street parking is available around the area, but it can be limited during peak hours. However, there are several paid parking lots nearby as well that offer convenient parking options.
