Friday nights in Scripps Ranch just got easier.

Every Friday, we are sending a hot Italian dinner for two out the door, ready to eat the minute you get home. No cooking. No reheating. No 5:30 PM takeout debate.

This Friday: Chicken Marsala. A seared chicken breast finished in a glossy pan sauce of mushrooms, butter, and dry Marsala wine. Buttery mashed potatoes underneath to catch every drop. Roasted Brussels sprouts and baby carrots with crispy pancetta on the side.

Sunday just changed forever in Scripps Ranch.

Introducing SUGO SUNDAY, every Sunday at Buon Cibo, starting this weekend.

So what is sugo? If you grew up in a Sicilian household, you already know. It’s the slow-cooked Sunday sauce that simmers on the stove all day long. The pot that fills the entire house with garlic and tomatoes and braised meat. The reason nobody ever left Nanu’s table hungry.

This is Tom Tarantino’s family recipe, handed down from his Nanu, made the way it’s been made for generations. Rich, slow-simmered sugo with tender meatball, Italian sausage, rigatoni, and warm garlic bread.

For the main event, our Family-Style Lasagna Trays are fully assembled, ready to take home and bake. 350 degrees, about an hour in the oven, and you’ve got a centerpiece that feeds the whole family.

Meat Lasagna: beef ragu, ricotta, mozzarella, Romano. Half tray $85 | Full tray $165.

Cheese Lasagna: marinara, ricotta, mozzarella, Romano. Half tray $75 | Full tray $145.
