Eddie Guerrero really did THIS on SmackDown. 😳🔥
July 15, 2004. Eddie Guerrero challenged JBL for the WWE Championship inside a steel cage — and gave us one of the most unforgettable Frog Splashes in WWE history.
Eddie climbed to the top of the cage and launched himself onto JBL below. JBL survived the splash, and the match continued, eventually ending with JBL escaping the cage after interference from the mysterious El Gran Luchadore — later revealed to be Kurt Angle.
Almost 22 years later, that Frog Splash still hits different.
Eddie didn’t need to be the biggest guy in the ring to create some of the biggest moments.
