Strawberry is BACK!
Available for a limited time at both locations, our housemade strawberry syrup uses only the best ingredients:
-fresh in-season strawberries

And that's it.

We've known this coffee was special for a little while now, but it sure is nice to have confirm it with a 95 point rating! When sent us samples of a coffee by we were already excited to even have access to a coffee from this celebrated producer (Nestor's coffees have been regularly used in national and global coffee competitions, even winning a World Barista Championship)
Every day since first roasting it this coffee has been a treat- and we'll keep drinking it until it's all gone!

finally! We've been trying to get this machine set up at our OB shop for quite awhile now. We've always taken pride in our espresso and espresso-based drinks - now we get to showcase them even more with our favorite machine, the LII
This machine makes the tastiest shots, the creamiest milk foam, and looks awesome while doing it. We can't wait for you to try it!

Not everyone knows how much our coffee sourcing means to us —
so we wanted to share a little of that story. ☕️
A great place to start: Colombia Asprotimana Mujeres.
This coffee comes from 25 women smallholder producers in Timaná, Huila. They grow it, process it on their own farms, and sell it to the cooperative at a quality-based premium — giving them more control, visibility, and stability in their work.
You can drink this coffee all day at both locations, on drip and as our current house espresso.
Come taste what thoughtful sourcing looks like. 💛

tomorrow (Friday 1/30) many Americans will hopefully be taking some serious action to show up for the crisis in our country. ICE is not welcome in our community, and must be stopped. The current situation is completely unacceptable.
To close either or both of our stores would be a significant hardship for us and our staff. We can't do it. So we looked at what some of our most respected peers are doing.
has always been the model of what welcoming, inclusive spaces should be. We're lucky to know the folks over there and saw that they are donating 10% of sales to Immigrant Defenders Law Center
We thought that seemed like a pretty good idea. So after asking Dani if it was OK for us to follow her excellent example over at Ultreya, we'll be doing just that.
10% of all sales tomorrow will be donated to Immigrant Defenders Law Center. We hope to continue to do more and show up for ALL of our community, especially those unjustly targeted by ICE, bigots, and hateful people.
If you can do more, please do. Not just tomorrow, but whenever you can.
