Happy One Year anniversary! β¨οΈπ€
This couple had one of my favorite wedding cakes last year- a three tiered gorgeously piped Lambeth, envisioned in their minds and deliciously brought to life on their beautiful wedding day.
One blissful year later, the top tier inspired this anniversary cake. Same flavors they loved: vanilla strawberry swirl cake, mixed berry preserve, vanilla diplomat cream. Similar delicate piping. Same love, just one year sweeter.
I'm proud to share again the feedback they gave me last year, "Lillian....Your cake was beyond our wildest expectations. We froze the top layer and thawed and ate it in batches, and last night we had the last slices. It was so sad, taking that last bite. But I wanted to reach out to say thank you. Okay let me sound like a nag for a min (again) - if the frosting is supposed to be smooth, make it SMOOTH. Do that base right and you'll have a cake with that finished, pro look essential for a wedding day centerpiece. So gorgeous with the fresh blooms here. A clean, classic and modern design that will stand the test of time.

All field up! Another "I-really-smoothed that buttercream" tier. Accents are fondant and every detail was carefully planned out - the font of his name, the yardage, the hash marks, that rice krispies football balanced on top and of course, the flavors. To get there by public transport, take the MTS bus route to the stop nearest to Carmel Mountain Road and Rancho Carmel Drive. From here, you will need to walk a few blocks to reach the cupcake shop.
If traveling by car, take I-15 and exit at Carmel Mountain Road. From there, head west until you reach Rancho Carmel Drive. The cupcake shop will be located a few blocks down on the left-hand side of the road.
