To get to the hotel and new American restaurant on Island Avenue in San Diego by public transport, one can take a bus or trolley to the Gaslamp Quarter Station or Convention Center Station. From there, it's just a short walk south on 5th Avenue to reach the destination.
For those driving and looking for parking options nearby, there are several parking garages within walking distance such as Ace Parking, ABM Parking, and Horton Plaza Park Garage. It's recommended to check availability and pricing ahead of time. Once parked, head south on 3rd or 4th Avenue towards Island Avenue to reach the hotel and restaurant location.

The Horton Grand Hotel is a hidden gem located in the heart of San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. This boutique hotel offers luxury, elegance, and history all wrapped up in one. The recently renovated guestrooms and suites are individually appointed and provide a warm ambience with fireplaces in each room. Guests can enjoy San Diego's perfect weather from their in-room balconies or simply open a window to let in the fresh ocean air.
The hotel also boasts over 8,500 square feet of flexible meeting/banquet space that includes a New Orleans-style open-air courtyard, state-of-the-art conference room, and two ballrooms that can accommodate up to 300 people each. The Horton Grand Theatre is another unique feature of this hotel that can accommodate up to 250 people with not a bad seat in the house.
