Ever have a cat who loved being with you so much that they peed on you? That's what happened with this rescue cat. But, this cat had serious separation anxiety after being abandoned. That caused him to naturally mark the things he cared about the most.

After a while, he stopped doing this because he knew he wasn't going to be abandoned again.

The Cat Cafe, located in Island Avenue, San Diego, has been recently reviewed by multiple newspapers, providing ample insight into the experience of visiting the coffee shop.

A recent review from The San Diego Tribune describes The Cat Cafe as a "charming spot" with an "adorable feline twist." The reviewer praises the cat adoptions that take place at The Cat Cafe and commends the efforts taken to provide a safe and hygienic environment for both cats and customers. This review was published in August 2021.

Another newspaper review from Eater San Diego, also published in August 2021, calls attention to the quality of coffee served at The Cat Cafe. It mentions that the cafe sources its beans from local roasteries and provides a variety of brew methods. However, it also notes that the food menu is limited and could use some improvement.

Online reviews from customers also offer additional perspectives on The Cat Cafe. One customer commented on Yelp that they appreciated the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere of the shop. Another customer expressed disappointment with how small the space was and how few cats were available to interact with during their visit.

Overall, while most reviews have been positive about aspects such as cat adoptions or coffee quality, some have noted room for improvement in other areas such as food options or space limitations.
