Calling you my son has been my life’s greatest gift.
There is no way to express the love and gratitude I feel having you by my side through this life.
I can’t wait to watch the beautiful life I know you will create for yourself.
Happy 18th Birthday Kellen. You are the best son a dad could ever ask for. Now let’s go jump out of that plane! 🪂

This was grind. Trained for sub 1:30, finished in 1:30:30 landing me in the top 4% of the Open. 3rd place in my age group. Proud of the time, prouder of the discipline it took to make it happen. I failed 2 obstacles (Olympus and Spear Throw 🙄) resulting in an extra 1/4 mile run and 30 burpees.
Thank you to my wife for the support and my son .campbell .hauserr and for cheering me.
Not sure what’s next for me but I am going to continue this journey. Half-marathon, Spartan Beast 20k? Time will tell.
For now I’m going to ice and just in my hot tub.

The beauty of this dish isn’t just in how it looks—it’s in the layers of work behind it.
Garlic confit slow-cooked until buttery.
Pork belly rendered just right.
Even the balsamic took hours to reduce to the perfect glaze.
Guests only see the final plate—but the soul is in the prep.
