Come and get it Escondido Tamale Festival family. Help out your local restaurants and do it outdoors on Grand avenue
Starting Friday, July 10 the City of Escondido will be reducing the travel lanes on Grand Avenue between Maple Street and Juniper Street in order to allow restaurants to create temporary outdoor dining locations. Traffic will be limited to one travel lane in each direction with the other lane serving as parking.
This effort is in response to the State of CA order on July 7 prohibiting indoor dining that has had an immediate impact on local businesses.
City staff and the Escondido Downtown Business Association have been working quickly to streamline the permitting process that would normally take much longer in order to assist restaurants in staying open and operating outdoors.

* Live Concert by Santana Brothers
* Commemorative Souvenir
* Entry into Grand Raffle with completed Passport
* $35 advance ticket sales- Price increases to $45 after 10/18/14
* $25 Designated Driver (food tasting only)
The $35 Wedge Escondido Tasting ticket gets you access to 25+ tasting stops at local restaurants and businesses along Grand Ave, in Escondido. Each stop offers a sampling of gourmet cheeses and cheese inspired dishes, paired with craft beers and boutique wines. If that wasn't enough, Heritage Park will feature live music from Santana Brothers while you stroll though the wonderful vendors shopping for something special and unique.
The $25 Designated Driver Ticket
includes everything in the Passport Ticket without the alcohol.
