✨ TODAY, 9.12.2026, MARKS 30 YEARS OF SUCCESS! ✨

Since 1996, we have strived for excellence — to be a meaningful part of our community and, most importantly, to serve the wonderful people of the City of San Diego. 🤍

Throughout these 30 incredible years, we have been blessed and honored to receive so many awards, recognitions, and wonderful reviews — from the Gaslamp Quarter Association and California Restaurant Association to Zagat, San Diego Magazine, The San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego Reader, Eleanor Widmer, Stephen Silverman, San Diego Home/Garden, and many, many more. The list truly goes on, and we feel incredibly grateful and honored for every recognition we have received along this journey. ✨

But some of our greatest memories aren’t the awards — they are the celebrations we have shared with all of you. 🥂

Over the past 30 years, we have celebrated countless special moments of our own, but we have also had the privilege of being part of so many of our patrons’ most meaningful moments — birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, engagements, baptisms, company parties, retirements, holidays, family gatherings, milestones, and so much more.

It is truly an honor knowing that for three decades, Bandar has been a place where people have gathered to celebrate life, love, family, friendship, and unforgettable moments. We are so grateful that you have allowed us to be a small part of your lives and your memories while giving us the opportunity to serve you. 🤍

It all started because of these two amazing humans — Mom & Dad. 🤍

Thirty years ago, in 1996, they had the courage to take a chance on the Gaslamp Quarter at a time when it was nothing like the Gaslamp we know today. There wasn’t nearly as much happening downtown, and opening a restaurant here was a huge risk. But they believed in their dream, worked incredibly hard, and took that leap of faith.

And because of their courage, sacrifice, dedication, and vision… Bandar was born. 🤍

What started with Mom and Dad became a family journey that has now lasted 30 incredible years.

Over the past three decades, we have celebrated countless special moments of our own, but we have also had the privilege of being part of so many of our patrons’ most meaningful moments — birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, engagements, baptisms, company parties, retirements, holidays, family gatherings, milestones, and so much more.

Words can’t truly describe the amount of life that has been lived within these walls. The celebrations, the laughter, the joy, the holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and countless milestone moments we’ve shared—not only as a family, but alongside so many of our wonderful customers. 🥂🍾

For 30 years, Bandar has been so much more than a restaurant to us. It has been a place where memories were made, generations came together, friendships were formed, and some of life’s most special moments were celebrated.

On September 1, 2026, our beloved Bandar Restaurant was honored and recognized at the City of San Diego Council Chambers for 30 years in business. 🥂✨🍾

It was such a tremendous honor to accept this recognition and celebrate a milestone that means so much to our family.

Since 1996, our family has worked incredibly hard and remained dedicated to serving the Gaslamp Quarter with passion, pride, and commitment. Through everything our city, our country, and the world have experienced over the years — and through all of the economic ups and downs — we have continued to stay true to what matters most to us: quality food, exceptional service, and excellence.

We have always worked as a family — one team, one unit. And this milestone simply could not have been achieved without every single one of us, along with our amazing staff who have stood beside us throughout the years. ♥️

Most importantly, we want to thank all of our patrons who have supported Bandar every single day, every week, and every month. Whether you dined with us in the restaurant or took your favorites to go, every visit, every order, and every bit of support has meant the world to us. It is truly appreciated and never goes unnoticed.

Thirty years later, we are still here, still family-owned, still serving, and still incredibly grateful.
