It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of this iconic San Diego steakhouse! Locals know the sign as part of the landscape, off of I8 in hotel circle.
Operating for years as a Hungry Hunter, this location, along with Oceanside (still open), was purchased by a local and long time employee - Mity Mike Schneider. Mike partnered with then Manager Todd Ramsey to run the restaurant as GM.
Todd has been the backbone of the business for decades. Touching countless lives with his ‘never give up on people’ mantra. Always accommodating, mentoring and teaching. Somehow finding a way to have a great time and make us all laugh along the way!
