Every new technology category goes through a sorting process.
At first, the question is simple:
Can it work?
Then the harder questions begin.
Can it create demand?
Can it hold up across markets?
Can it become part of the economic foundation of a destination?
In surf, that distinction matters.
A broad technical label doesn’t tell you what surfers actually feel in the water. And a premium master plan can’t turn a mediocre wave into a premium experience.
The market eventually learns the difference between a vendor and infrastructure.
In surf, the wave has to be right.

- There are also paid parking lots nearby, such as the Solana Beach Train Station Parking Lot located at 105 N Cedros Ave.
