At Chicha Peruvian Kitchen, our name is more than just a word — it’s a story. 🇵🇪❤️
In Peru, “chicha” originally referred to traditional drinks made from corn, like the famous chicha morada. But over time, the meaning became much bigger.
As families migrated from small towns and the Andes to big cities like Lima, they brought their traditions, flavors, music, colors, and culture with them. That beautiful mix of roots and modern life became known as Cultura Chicha.
Today, “chicha” represents resilience, identity, hard work, and the beauty of blending traditions while creating new beginnings.
