JT's Tavern, located on Mission Gorge Road, is a bar and grill with a rich history dating back to 1961 when it was first established as a roadhouse bar called the Palamino Club. Over the years, it went through various name changes until it became JT's Tavern in 2001. The restaurant boasts a large and diverse group of regular patrons from the neighborhood as well as members of the military who have come and gone throughout the years. Its proximity to San Diego State University gives it an energetic vibe every night. The restaurant serves tasty food and drinks with great friends in a welcoming environment and is conveniently located just a short walk from the Grantville trolley stop.

JT's Tavern is located on Mission Gorge Road in San Diego. If you are travelling by public transport, you can take the Route 7 Bus until it reaches the Mission Gorge Road stop. From there, walk for about 10 minutes southbound on Mission Gorge Road until you reach the destination.
If you are driving, take I-8 East and exit at Mission Gorge Rd. Turn right onto Mission Gorge Rd and drive for around 5 minutes, then look for a parking spot nearby.
