To get to the sports bar and new American restaurant located on Morena Boulevard, you have several options for transportation. If using public transport, take the trolley or bus to the Old Town Transit Center and transfer to Bus #44 towards La Mesa. Get off at Morena Blvd and walk westbound until you reach the restaurant.
If driving, take I-5 and exit onto Sea World Drive heading towards Tecolote Rd. Turn right onto Morena Blvd and continue until you reach the restaurant on your left-hand side. There is street parking available in the surrounding area, or you can park in a nearby lot for a fee.

The High Dive has received mixed reviews in local newspapers. A review from the San Diego Union-Tribune in February praised the restaurant for its "appealing food and drink offerings" and "laid-back atmosphere," but mentioned that service could be slow. However, a more recent review from San Diego CityBeat in May criticized The High Dive's service, saying it was "slow and disorganized."
Customer opinions of The High Dive on various online platforms are also divided. Some customers have raved about the food and drinks, with one Yelp reviewer describing the burger as "the best I've ever had." Another Yelp reviewer was disappointed with the portion sizes, stating that they were "incredibly small for the price."
