This is the washed process in action. 💧☕️
By this stage, the coffee cherry’s skin and fruit have already been removed. The beans, still wrapped in their parchment layer, are washed clean to remove any remaining sticky mucilage before heading off to dry.
This extra step is what helps create the clean, crisp, and vibrant flavors washed coffees are known for.
So next time you see “Washed Process” on your favorite bag of coffee, remember this!

- There are several parking garages nearby, including the "Market Street Garage" located at 1100 Market Street itself.
- Street parking is also available but may be limited; check for any time restrictions or fees.
