One of our customers stopped by today and ordered one of the very first iced lattes from our new coffee area 🤎

And officially… this Sunday the 31st we’re celebrating the grand opening of our café at The Peruvian Spot 🎉🇵🇪

Yuca fries are one of the most loved side dishes in Peruvian cuisine 🇵🇪✨

They’re made from cassava, a root vegetable very popular in Latin America. Inside, they’re soft and fluffy, while the outside turns perfectly crispy when fried. Many people compare them to French fries, but they have a creamier texture and a slightly sweet, tropical flavor.

In Peru, they’re commonly served alongside ceviche, anticuchos, rotisserie chicken, and grilled meats — or simply enjoyed on their own with dipping sauces. Simple, but seriously addictive 😭🔥

- If you're coming from downtown San Diego, take the MTS Bus Route 7 or 11 towards the College Area.
- Get off at the stop nearest to Mesa College Drive.
- From there, it's a short walk to your destination.

2. **Trolley:**
- Take the Blue Line Trolley towards San Ysidro.
- Transfer at the SDSU Transit Center to Bus Route 11 or 15 heading towards La Mesa.
- Alight at a stop close to Mesa College Drive and walk to your destination.

**By Car:**
1. **From Downtown San Diego:**
- Head east on I-8 E.
- Take exit 10 for College Ave toward La Mesa.
- Merge onto College Ave and continue straight until you reach Mesa College Drive.

2. **Parking:**
- There is parking available along Mesa College Drive and in nearby lots. Be sure to check for any parking restrictions or fees.

3. **From I-15:**
- Take I-15 S and merge onto I-8 W.
- Follow the same directions as above from exit 10.
