Seven years! ❤️

What started as a dream became a community, a family, and a place filled with so many memories and so much love. We started on an exceptionally hard road, and the fact that we are still here is nothing short of a miracle, one built with a whole lot of blood, sweat, tears, and of course… many beers.

We truly wouldn’t be here without every person who walked through our doors, shared a beer, brought friends, celebrated milestones, and supported us through it all.

Endless gratitude to our amazing staff, both past and present. Your passion, hustle, laughter, and dedication are woven into every part of Carlsbad Brewing Co., and we wouldn’t be here without you.

Public Tappings - “Pliny the Younger” kegs will be tapped the same way we have done in past years, it is always a wonderful time for all of us! Please read this message carefully. This Sunday, February 8th, at Noon, Carlsbad Brewing Company will be TAPPING Russian River’s “Pliny the Younger” ONLY for those who have bought a prepaid card.

For those of you who want to enjoy a nice glass of Younger, we are pre-selling tickets for Younger, Wednesday 2/4 at 5pm, we have plenty loaded and ready for you. These tickets can be redeemed for a glass of Younger either:
Sunday 2/8 - Noon - 4pm (closing at 4) or
Tuesday 2/10 - Noon - 8pm

CASH ONLY, $11 (includes sales tax). These cards are pre-loaded, exact change is appreciated.

We are limiting sales to two per person, no exceptions.

If you can’t make either of these days, the next tapping will be:
Younger tapping Wednesday, Feb 11th at 3:30 - First come first served, limit two per person.

There are more tappings coming, so please everyone, be nice and be honest and share our love of this beer. Cheers!

I know we all love our points, rewards, and miles…

Those points are paid for by the small business where you swipe your card. Every transaction comes with fees, usually around 3% plus a per-swipe charge. And yes, it’s “the cost of doing business,” but for small, independent places… those fees add up amazingly fast. They squeeze margins, force price increases (which we hate doing), and make it even harder to survive in a world where costs are skyrocketing and regulations keep piling on.

But here’s the beautiful thing about cash: When you hand a small business a $100 bill, that $100 stays whole. It stays in the community. It keeps circulating through real people’s lives.

Maybe we use that $100 to take a Monday night off and treat ourselves to dinner somewhere local. Then that restaurant uses it to pay their hairdresser for a haircut. Then the barber uses it to go play pickleball with friends. Then the pickleball court uses it to pay a teenager for babysitting. And so on…

But when that same $100 runs through the credit-card system, every swipe chips away at it, 3% here, 30 cents there, until eventually, it’s gone.

Life is busy and convenience is real. And every time you choose cash at a small business, you’re literally helping keep doors open, people employed, and communities strong.

It genuinely matters more than you know.

If driving, take the highway to Carlsbad and exit on Innovation Way. Follow the road until you reach your destination. There is ample parking available on site.
