The District Sandwiches

The District Sandwiches The District Sandwiches, a local East Village Sandwich Shop in Downtown San Diego on 10th and Market Street, was more than just a restaurant or a place to grab a quick bite. Founded by four friends - Michael Blair, Rex Camerino, Trong Nguyen-Dinh, and Chris Toledo - The District aimed to be an extraordinary sandwich shop that focused on the community. From the carefully chosen decor to the warm and welcoming service provided by the owners themselves, every detail was designed to make customers feel at home. The District's Executive Chef/Partner Gustavo Torres, with his extensive culinary background and degree from "The Art Institute of California - San Diego," ensured that the sandwiches, salads, and soups were crafted with fine-tuned ingredients and made from scratch. Though originally a small shop nestled in the East Village of downtown San Diego, The District had plans to expand its reach and serve the wider community.
