This has to be my new favorite Brunch Spot in North Park, I love the farm to table concept and all the creative dishes with an Asian twiste
I love the menu here, they have such unique dishes that you normally won't see at other places
This spot is super inviting, and they have great hospitality. I love how intentional each dish was created, all the different layers of flavors combined works so well together
I loved all the drinks, to savory dishes to sweet bites, seriously SO GOOD!!
I'm obsessed

gastronemy .sd has now become one of my favorite brunch spots. They are located in North Park adjacent to their sister restaurant Thai Time North Park. This used to be a brewery so you'll notice the layout is similar to a brewery. I like the open concept with bright natural light and fresh air. Warm hospitality and delicious food. I now have a handful of favorite dishes to choose from. I'm not going to keep this restaurant"BETWEEN US" Imao, because I want everyone to know about this place and check it out themselves. I wanted to try their beignets but they only make a limited amount; they usually run out before lunchtime. 🍄✨ When brunch gets earthy, creamy, crispy, and a little fancy all at once… that’s our Mushroom Toast. We’re talking organic mushrooms grown locally in Escondido, roasted until they hit that perfect bite. Add a swipe of ricotta, drizzle of herb oil, and tangy pickled shallots—yeah, it’s that good.
And if you’re the kind of bruncher who believes everything’s better with an egg… we got you 🍳💛

This place is now one of my top brunch places. Such a different brunch menu from most places in North Park. It has unique flavors and ingredients for a price I don't mind paying bcs everything was so tasty.The Hojicha latte was incredibly tasty (I just wish I got it hot but I forgot to say!) and the matcha was strong. You can see the staff whisking the matcha with proper tools and care for each drink. I got the breakfast tartine with candied bacon, aioli, greens, soft scrambled eggs, and tonsssss of avocado and my partner got the two egg breakfast! Everything was delicious with the black sesame cream for the beignets being my favorite thing on the table. If something so small can be so delicious then I have no doubts that this place cares about the product they put out while maintaining a trendy and modest aesthetic.

Freshly made, golden, and gone in seconds. Our housemade Beignets are soft, fluffy pillows of joy served with creamy matcha and a crispy Black Sesame Pastry for that perfect contrast. Everything is made from scratch with premium ingredients, just the way it should be. Only at Between Us. Come hungry.

At Between Us, we believe food brings people together and that’s where our story begins. We source the best from local farms: free-range eggs from Eben-Haezer in Ramona, mushrooms from Mountain Meadow in Escondido, wildflower honey from the Mikolich family in Temecula, and fresh produce from J.R. Organics. Our levain bread comes from Bread & Cie in Hillcrest, and other ingredients come from family farms throughout San Diego, handpicked daily by our chef at local farmers markets. Our coffee is roasted just around the corner by Parabola in Normal Heights and Genteel Coffee Roasters in North Park. The rest is made in-house every day from our shokupan, burger buns, and focaccia to our daily pastries and hand-crafted meat patties. Everything on your plate is thoughtful, local, and full of intention because Between Us isn’t just a name, it’s the connection we’re building with every bite.
