The Line Up at Bosforo is an essential part of our team regimen. It sets the tone for each evening and preps the team, both Back of House and Front of house, to provide the best possible experience for each of our guests. Thanks to our amazing staff, leadership, and guests, we get the privilege to also have a whole lot of fun doing it.

Today, we acknowledge the 1/30 strike and stand in solidarity with the American people, especially with those that are minorities and immigrant communities whose voices, creativity, love and labor are essential to this country.
As a small business, we are unable to close our doors today. That said, we are participating in all other actions in support of this movement.
If you choose to spend money today, we encourage you to do so with intention…by supporting local and small businesses, such as ours, that are deeply rooted in their communities and in the collective belief of love first.
With respect and gratitude,
Bosforo

Cultural Intermission: The Turkish Rug
We all know and love them, but before the meze hit the table, a little context.
In Turkish culture, a rug is never just a rug. It’s a story woven into wool. A diary of craftsmanship, passed from hands to homes for centuries. Every knot carries meaning: symbols of protection, fertility, love, or rebellion (depending on who was doing the weaving).
They covered floors, walls, dowries, and secrets. They marked status and geography, told you where someone came from and sometimes what they’d survived. A silent biography underfoot.
So next time you spot one beneath your ayakkabi, don’t just admire the pattern. Respect the plot.
