Donโt waste your money where staff AND customers are treated poorly! I used to come here all the time. Well the manager on duty Tuesday at noon, 5/26/26 made it so this was my last visit! Mind you this was after we chatted about me purchasing items to go, while ordering my big lunch as dine-in. She then proceeds to tell me, โNo! The Pork Chashu dish is dine in only. You cannot order it to go. Do you want to order again?โ Now why would I? I just lost my whole appetite.
Of course, I asked โWhy when I ordered the dish to go just a week before?โ
Her response, โI donโt know how he did it. But it was wrong!โ
First off why not say ANYTHING while we chatted about it at the start? Just to wait and deny me the opportunity to could purchase the item to goโฆbut the ask me if I want to order more food at the end of my meal?

To make matters worse, she then called another employee over and proceeded to talk very badly about an employee not thereโฆ So clearly I wasnโt the only target. This was all in earshot and at the bar. Miserable people should not be the face of a beautiful brand. She should not be leading anything but herself to the unemployment line. How did she even become manager? I even had to ask another employee who she was because she behaved like an owner trying to run the business in the ground. So nope, we wonโt use Tajima (College Area) to cater my event and I wonโt be coming back. There are other locations Iโll gladly drive to just to avoid this one. I could only image what the college kids go through because clearly she thought I was one of them. Nope! I own three successful businesses and hire venues to cater/host large fundraising events. I guess you just never know who people really are ๐

Food AMAZING Service Beyond ๐ฉ
While looking for a location for my next event, I meet a horrible manager at one of my old go to spots, Tajima Japanese Restaurant the College location by SDSU. Needless to say, it was my last time visiting. After my poor service, she proceeded to talk bad about another employee right at the bar in my presence. Just thought Iโd let them know they need better staff and lost a long time customer in the processโผ๏ธ(PS I have several pages, so donโt let this little baby one fool you ๐) Myeshia Abdul Hakeem of Homes With My Realty

Scientists recently uncovered one of the world's largest known aggregations of wild bees beneath East Lawn Cemetery in Ithaca, New York.
Researchers from Cornell University estimated that approximately 5.5 million ground-nesting bees, primarily the solitary species Andrena regularis, or regular mining bee, emerged from the soil in spring 2023.
This massive population occupied about 6,500 square meters, equivalent to more than 200 typical honeybee hives packed into a small 1.5-acre plotโfar denser than usual for such insects.
The discovery began accidentally when a lab technician collected several bees while walking through the cemetery and realized the scale of activity.
These bees are solitary rather than social like honeybees; each female digs her own underground nest to lay eggs, yet they form dense communal nesting sites.
The cemetery's undisturbed, well-drained soil has supported this thriving colony for decades, with records of Andrena regularis dating back to at least 1935, making it likely one of the oldest documented aggregations.
This underground "bee city" highlights the ecological value of cemeteries as refuges for pollinators. These bees play a vital role in spring pollination of wildflowers and crops, contributing significantly to biodiversity and food production.
Experts emphasize the need to protect such natural nesting habitats from development, as paving them over could instantly eliminate millions of essential pollinators. The finding underscores how hidden urban green spaces sustain remarkable wildlife.
