The restaurant was established in 1950 after the DePhilippis family moved to San Diego, where they opened an Italian market named Cash & Carry Italian foods on India Street. Today, Filippi’s Pizza Grottos are owned and operated by original family members of the founders who welcome you and your family to visit their restaurants to enjoy their classic dishes. You can find this restaurant located at Campo Road.
