Free Spanish Lesson today-
One Alfajor, Two Alfajores, Three Alfajores…
(Al-fah-hor) (Al-fah-hor-es)
Use the “es” at the end only when you are referring to more than one.
For plural words in Spanish (unlike English) when a word ends with a consonant, an extra vowel is added before the “s”. It just helps it sound nicer!
Hope that helps🙂
The end👏

Happy National Cheesecake day to this beaut! 🤌
❤️Special shout out to those of you who come week after week for this delicious thing
There’s those who like it really burnt…
Those who like it runny…
Those who decide to wait and get it on your way back down the block and miss out cuz it sold out…
And definitely those who’ve seen me drop a slice or struggle to get it served in one piece😅🥲🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hey👋 I’m Valery, the Owner & Baker behind “Alfa”. If you don’t know me from the Farmer’s Market already (or if you do) here’s some fun facts about myself!
I grew up in Uruguay, which is why I love Alfajores so much, but I’m also Armenian so I also grew up with a lot of Near Eastern flavors.
I didn’t always like to bake, although I did always love to eat my mom’s amazing cakes😋, and owning a type of establishment that drew people together was/is also a big dream of mine.
Ever since I can remember I’ve been obsessed with the diversity of different cultures/flavors/peoples. That’s why even though we’re a South American bakery I can’t help but throw in some menu items from around the world that particularly speak to me❤️
Second pic is in a tiny town in Uruguay pre-Alfajores Bakery🥲
Have an awesome Monday🥰
