The Red Fox Steakhouse and Piano Bar on El Cajon Boulevard is a legendary spot that has been around since before the lounge vibe was even defined, with a piano that has been played by some of the most talented players in San Diego history. It's a favorite among locals for the dry martinis, rollicking sing-a-longs, and classic American fare served in the steakhouse.

The Red Fox Steakhouse is a legendary establishment that has been serving up delicious steaks and classic American cuisine since 1959. The piano bar is a must-visit spot, where patrons can enjoy the lively atmosphere, Cabernet-colored Naugahyde decor, and dry martinis. The pianist is the heart of the bar, and locals still talk about the legendary Shirley Allen, who played marathon Dixieland jams and lounge standards for eleven years. Although Shirley passed away in 2005, her legacy lives on through the talented musicians who continue to entertain guests most nights and during lunch hours. The Red Fox Steakhouse is a true San Diego institution that offers great food, drinks, and entertainment in a classic setting that will transport you back in time. Whether you're an old-timer or a post-college crowd member, you'll love the lively atmosphere at this iconic steakhouse on El Cajon Boulevard.
