It looks like a nice evening out at a nice vegan restaurant. And while it was a nice evening, it was at home with my honey and vegan burgers and salad from the ladies at 🌱💕
Ahhhh TGIF 🙂 I’ll be enjoying a real weekend full of pickleball, a pool party, and .
And the best part, it will not be spent in the kitchen cooking 👩🍳 ❌ 😅

What beats a teeny fridge stuffed with Plant Based Meals?
NOT having to cook them! 🥳
I’m still in La La Bliss Land from not spending a weekend cooking in a hot kitchen 🥵
Saturday morning I placed my order from the lovely ladies at , (using code CCK10 to save 10%!) closed my laptop and went about my weekend.
Monday night, 10 fully plant based meals showed up in cardboard containers on my doorstep in a cooler bag.
I transferred them to my airtight glass containers and I’ve been enjoying them all week long.
You can see in my teeny fridge, I’m not a vegan, or even a vegetarian. We keep dairy, eggs and even a teeny amount of traditional protein ready to go.
But having the hard work done - the veggie planning, shopping and slaying- that’s what saves us time and keeps us healthy & energized. 💥
I will get back to cooking again myself. I love it and I love sharing ideas, recipes and healthy hacks. But until then, as I still recover and adjust to this new life, I am forever grateful to Sonya and Angela at !

Thank you for trusting the Clean & Colorful Kitchen as a partner in your healthy lifestyle. Whether it be one week or 6 years, it has been an honor and a privilege to fill your fridge with Plant Forward food. While it is bittersweet to have closed our kitchen last weekend, we could not be more excited about our new partners we are recommending.
Sonya and Angela are incredible women and leading the charge in Plant Based Meal Prep in San Diego!!
I could not be prouder of a company to recommend you to after we close.
They cook slightly different than us, as they are a Whole Food Plant Based kitchen, cooking exclusively vegan. But their recipes are intricate, beautiful and loaded with plant protein and all the phytochemical benefits that come with them. I think you will absolutely love them if you give them a try!

Ummm…this is kind of a big deal. I’ve called “Last Call!” Many times over the years, but this is *literally* last call from CCK!
We have been slaying veggies every weekend for 330 weeks. That’s a lot of veggies, a lot of laughs, a lot of good nutrition, and at the end of the day — a LOT of work.
I am tired.
The business is healthy. This is not a decision being made out of desperation or despair. It’s a personal choice for me as I look forward to new venture and life with more flexibility.
Personally, I have a new job, we have a new home, a new puppy and a wedding in October! While bittersweet to say goodby to my Kitchen, I am excited for the future!
All the details of exactly what this means for our clients is in the link in our profile, but in short, you need not worry!
Not only are we still cooking one more weekend … I have also identified an amazing company who will continue to cook amazing, plant based food for you all right after we stop! I will send out those details early next week.
And if you just love the CCK vibe and our recipes, I have even better news! I will be transitioning the Clean & Colorful Kitchen to an online company providing resources and recipes to make plant forward meal prep at home — easier 🙏

Plant based, nutrient dense, protein packed — FRESH dinner ready in less than 3 minutes!? 🤯
I’d be eating at 9pm if I had to cook this from scratch tonight. I am absolutely delighted by how delicious this Tropical Tangy Bowl tastes!
Hot tip for clients who ordered it this week: toss it in a skillet and heat it for 2-3 minutes to wilt the kale. It feels like a restaurant quality entree!
I am also so glad I’m ordering Chef’s Choice now, because truth be told, this entree has not historically been one of my favs and tonight it’s bumped to the top of the list! 🥇

We can do that! We are still piloting our reusable glass tray program!
1. Order a chefs choice pack and add the glass tray deposit.
2. Enjoy fully cooked, perfectly portioned, freshly kept plant forward meals all week long.
3. Wash your trays and return them to the kitchen or leave them for your delivery driver on your next order.
4. Get your deposit back towards your next order or refunded to your card.
As the owner of this company, I am so very pleased that I can order my trays in glass now and also enjoy everything we cooked over the weekend! 👩🍳

💚Attn all Goddesses: our Green Goddess Bowl is in the menu this weekend! 💚
Roasted butternut squash, fresh greens, protein packed quinoa, pepitas, edamame, roasted bell peppers - all served with a side of our from scratch Goddess Sauce which is simply divine. 🙏
I’ll be ordering a family portion of this for my girls get together next week! ❣️

Make Taco Tuesday next week something extra delicious (and healthy!) 🤗
Our Chipotle tacos are on the menu this week and if you haven’t had them yet, now is the time to order!
You can order with organic chicken or tofu, which are smothered in our from scratch spicy Chipotle sauce then fire roasted at high heat 🔥
We serve them with a generous side of extra sauce, a southwest slaw and in a cabbage shell. 🌮

Happy Easter weekend from your CCK Crew! 🐰 🧺 🥚 💐
We’re celebrating this weekend by mixing up our signature Crunchy Egg Salad!
A little story … 2310 days ago (yes, that’s 6 years!) and were just getting this little kitchen started. We were in our 5th week of business 🥰
We thought it would be cute to add an egg salad recipe to the menu for Easter.
Truth be told, egg salad had NEVER sounded good to me (Teresa) nor is it traditionally a “healthy dish.” But for the sake of fun in new business adventures-we went for it! Designed this recipe to be plant forward with a (now optional) small side of crispy bacon).
Fast forward to today, we’ve prepped this dish adozen times and it’s one of my absolute favorites! 💕
It’s fun to look at our recipes and remember the story behind each ones’ development ☺️
