Soft opening tonight for our new endeavor! Stop by Black Sands Hula Lounge and say hello. Serving up Hawaiian small plates, noodles and tiki drinks until 9pm. Downstairs at South Beach. 🌺🍍🌊🤙🏼

My family just wants to thank everyone so much for the awesome messages we have received from y’all over the past couple days. It means so much to us as we have reminisced over the past 23 years. Seeing messages, from new and old customers, remembering their first Sapporo’s experiences, or expressing their sadness of our closing. We have had some fabulous times over the years, and in the end we have you to thank for all of them. From the bottom of our hearts Thank You All so Very Much.

It is with much sadness that I inform you that August 29th will be our last day.
It’s been a great run and my family just wants to thank y’all so much for the love and support over the last 23 years. We cherish the memories that we will take with us. We’ve seen so many of your children grow up, made so many friends along the way, and we have even seen some of our loved ones pass on through the years. We love and will remember you all in our hearts as we face our new future. Thank you again our fabulous OB community and extended Sapporo family. It’s been awesome!

THIS IS WHY I LOVE WORKING FOR THESE PEOPLE!
I told Joe he made some mistakes on the new menu with pricing. Any 3 entrees on a combo dinner $13.95, any 2 only $10.95. He says "we are not going full staff so I am passing on the savings to our customers."

Hey everyone! We are opening back up for business!!! Starting Friday at 4 we are going to be doing Togo orders. We will have nightly Togo beer and sake specials. We will also have new pricing on teriyaki combinations to bring a better price for you. Pretty exciting stuff. Stay well until we see you. Thanks everyone.

1. From downtown San Diego, take the Green Line trolley towards Old Town Transit Center.
2. Get off at Old Town Transit Center and transfer to Bus Route 9 towards Ocean Beach.

Driving/Parking:
1. If you are coming from downtown San Diego, take I-5 North.
2. Take exit 21 for Sea World Drive/Tecolote Road.
3. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for Sea World Drive.
4. Merge onto Sea World Drive and continue straight onto Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.
5. Turn right onto Newport Avenue.
6. Look for available street parking or nearby parking lots/garages.
