Today we celebrate the women who built the table before we ever sat at it. 🤍
A special Mother’s Day shoutout to the heart behind so much of what makes Havana Grill feel like home. The recipes, the strength, the love, the tradition — it all starts with moms like her.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, tias, and mother figures who keep families close and communities fed. 🌷

Before Havana Grill was a restaurant, it was family, memories, and moments like these. 🇨🇺
Old photos from Cuba… long days on the water, streets lined with palms, and the people who carried our story across generations. So much of what we do today is rooted in where they came from — the food, the music, the feeling of gathering around a table together.
A little piece of old Havana, still living on here with us. ❤️

Bad Bunny might not be in the kitchen… but his favorite dish just made it to Havana Grill 👀🔥
Introducing Arroz con Salchichas — our take on a Puerto Rican classic, here for a limited time.
We start by sautéing onions and red peppers, then add chopped beef sausage, rice, and water, bringing it all together with a bold blend of Puerto Rican spices—cumin, coriander, oregano, annatto, and garlic. The result? A rich, vibrant, flavor-packed dish that hits every time. 🇵🇷✨
It’s hearty, it’s nostalgic, and it’s only here through the rest of March—so if you’ve been looking for something new to fall in love with, this is it.
Come try it before it’s gone. 🥘🔥

Sun’s out, San Diego ☀️🌴 and there’s only one answer: the Cuban Painkiller at Havana Grill.
Made with real deal cream of coconut (yes, that rich Coco López goodness), layered with orange + pineapple juice, a splash of banana liqueur, and finished with pineapple rum that brings it all together 🍍🥥
Think piña colada… but with a Cuban twist — smoother, richer, and seriously crave-worthy.
Trust us, one sip and you’ll get it. 🍹

The best way to start the week:
sangria, good company, and Havana vibes. 🍷🌿

Good morning from Havana Grill ☕️🥟
Start your day with the bold, real flavors of Cuban coffee — made from rich, dark-roasted beans and brewed just right. Every sip brings you a little taste of Cuba.
Whether you’re in the mood for a strong and sweet Café Cubano, a creamy Cortadito, or a smooth Café con Leche, there’s no better way to start the morning. Pair it with a fresh empanada and you’re set.
See you soon. ☀️

Fresh, simple, and always refreshing. 🌿🍹
Our Havana Mojito is easily one of the most popular drinks — and for good reason.
We start with fresh mint, lime juice, and organic agave, then add Havana Club Añejo rum (a little twist from the traditional blanco). It’s muddled to release all that minty goodness and topped with a splash of soda water for the perfect refreshing finish.
Simple. Classic. And always a good idea.
Cheers!

The Cuban sandwich isn’t just a menu item — it’s a rite of passage. 🇨🇺🥪
At any true Cuban restaurant, the Cubano is essential. It’s the perfect balance of slow-roasted pork, smoky ham, melted Swiss cheese, tangy pickles, and sharp mustard — all pressed between perfectly crisp, golden Cuban bread. That first crunch? Iconic. That savory, juicy bite? Unmatched.
It tells the story of Cuban comfort food in one handheld masterpiece. Simple ingredients, bold flavor, done right.
If you’re stepping into a Cuban restaurant and not ordering the Cubano… are you even doing it right? 😉

Rain in San Diego? That’s your sign to cancel the salad plans and lean into something that actually warms you up. ☔🍷
When the skies turn gray, we turn to Fricasé de Pollo — the kind of comfort that feels like it’s been simmering all day just for you.
Naturally raised, hormone-free chicken braised low and slow in a light wine and organic tomato sauce, layered with sweet onions, bell peppers, briny olives, capers, and tender red potatoes. It’s rich but balanced. Cozy but not heavy. The kind of dish that makes rainy nights feel intentional.
Add a side of congrí or black beans and rice, don’t forget those perfectly sweet fried plantains, and let the storm do its thing outside while you settle in with something soulful inside. 🌧️🥘
Rainy day plans = handled.
