Just a week ago, Amalfi was once again on the global stage at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas — the largest pizza event in the world, where the best pizzaioli come together to compete, learn, and celebrate the craft.
This year, our team — Jojo & Emmanuele — brought talent, passion, and heart to the International Pizza Challenge – Neapolitan Division 2026, finishing 20th and 32nd out of 120 of the best Neapolitan pizzaioli worldwide.
A huge achievement.

Our Carmel Valley location will be closing its doors this Monday, April 6th for a full remodel.
We’re truly excited to bring you a beautifully refreshed Amalfi space — and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way as the work and construction unfold.
To our dear regulars: we’re sorry for the interruption, but we hope you’ll visit us at our two other locations, Lake San Marcos and Oceanside, while Carmel Valley gets its well-deserved glow-up.

50 guests, 25 tables, and every bite made magical by our sous-chef Osvaldo. As he humbly accepted your praise, he kept saying, “Thank you, Chef Marcello.” Like a devoted student honoring their sensei, Osvaldo carries everything he’s learned from Chef Marcello, the heart of Amalfi.
Special thanks to Petra, our wine expert, for sharing the stories of Umbria & Tuscany 🍷—3 hours of pure delight celebrating the women behind the wines!
