What people say
If you're a fan of Filipino cuisine, then White Rice is definitely worth checking out. This modern Filipino restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional dishes, with a menu that revolves around savory rice bowls or "silog". These bowls are the perfect comfort food and are typically enjoyed for breakfast in the Philippines, but at White Rice, they're available all day long.
What sets White Rice apart from other Filipino restaurants is its focus on hospitality. Chef Phillip Esteban believes that hospitality is a universal language that can break down walls between people and create space for nuanced cultural conversation. And he's certainly created an inviting atmosphere at White Rice.
The restaurant's location on Historic Decatur Road adds to its charm. The street has a rich history and is home to many other great eateries and shops. It's the perfect spot to grab a meal with friends or family.
Overall, if you're looking for delicious Filipino food served with a side of warm hospitality, then White Rice is definitely worth visiting.
