Our last service, our last night, our incredible team. 💛
Six months ago, they learned we would not be renewing our lease — and every single one of them chose to stay until the very end.
We are incredibly grateful for this crew- and for Cody and Andrew who kept this team together through it all. Thank you for making this place what it was.

Thank you all for coming out to see us in our last weeks, it has been great to see you and share some memories. We have mixed emotions going into our last week. Sadness to end this 10 year run but happiness to see everyone’s support and appreciation. Please go out to dinner, support your favorite places and give the new places a try. Going out to enjoy a meal, cooked and served by people that care about your happiness will never be written in code.

After 10 incredible years, we will be closing our doors at the end of next month. Many of you knew us first as Galaxy, and more recently as Sandpiper Wood Fired Grill & Oysters—no matter the name, it’s always been about good food, good people, and a place to gather.
As our lease comes to an end, we’ve made the heartfelt decision to move on rather than renew. It wasn’t an easy choice, but it feels right for where we are now.
While this chapter is closing, we are deeply grateful for the support, love, and memories you’ve all shared with us over the years.
We’d love to see you in this final month as our final day will be November 1st. Come by, share a meal, and help us close this chapter with the same warmth and spirit you’ve always brought us.
And as we say goodbye, we encourage you to keep showing up for your localy owner restaurants—every meal, every visit, truly matters more than you know.
