Devine Pastabilities Devine Pastabilities, a combination sandwich shop and Italian restaurant located on Midway Drive, offered a unique twist on the classic pasta dish with their torpasta – pasta-stuffed sandwiches. However, it was announced in July 2022 that Torpasta would be going on hiatus due to other business ventures and as of December 2022, the space is now occupied by Cucina Caprese. Unfortunately, Cucina Caprese has since been permanently closed without any given reason.

Hello Torpasta friends, fans and family, you’re not going to like this, but I am putting Torpasta on hiatus for a while. I have embarked on a new venture that requires my time and energy. I want to thank you for all the love and support over the years. We appreciate you so much! Maybe we’ll return someday, but for now we are taking an extended break from operations of all events etc.

To get to Midway Drive in San Diego, you can take the Green Line Trolley to the Old Town Transit Center and then transfer to Bus Route 923. Get off at the stop near Midway Drive and walk a few blocks to your destination.

If driving, take I-5 or I-8 to the Rosecrans/Midway exit and head west on Midway Drive. Look for parking options along the street or in nearby lots.
