It’s that time, Pony Up Pizza fans!!
We’re firing up the oven and heading back to one of our favorite spots on the Crystal Coast, 34 North of Cedar Point!!
This Friday night, 5:30ish until we’re out!!
Chef’s Special: The Nicole!!
We start with our Calabrian white sauce spread over that Pony Up crust you already know and love, then load it up with Grande mozzarella, Italian sausage, spinach, and red onion before sending it straight into the fire.
Creamy, a little spicy, savory, and packed with flavor. And that crust… you already know it Buckin’ Delicious!!

Well, because apparently we’re not overwhelmed enough trying to make the best pizza around… and it’s not like our pasta classes are already completely out of control. 😂
So naturally, we’ve been talking with our friends at Shortway about another terrible idea…

So if we’re doing brunch, we’re doing BRUNCH.
Wood fired brunch pizzas. Cold beer. And mimosas strong enough to make you forget it’s still morning and Monday is in the horizon.

I’ll tell you what, this group was SERIOUS about making some pasta! 😂 At one point, it looked like they were taking an algebra test!
But somewhere between the flour, the folding, and trying to figure it all out, the laughs started coming.
By the end of the evening, a group of strangers had made some pretty incredible pasta, shared a great meal, and most importantly, enjoyed an evening of laughter and togetherness.
And that’s exactly what these evenings are all about.

Now that the retirement shenanigans have officially ended, it’s time for Pony Up to get back to the streets and feed the pizza deprived!!
Weather be damned, you’ll catch us bringing the heat to 34 North of Cedar Point this Friday from 5:30 until we sell out… or until we have to break out the oars and row our asses home!
The Chef Special: It’s in the photos, and quite frankly, it needs no introduction!!

Among family and friends, Alana and I officially retired from the Marine Corps after three decades of service to this great country.
It’s been a conversation at the window of our beloved Pony Up with countless customers over the years, and the day finally came.
I’m certainly not as young as I was 30 years ago, but knowing everything I know today, I’d raise my hand again and run in the same footsteps that brought me to this very day.
Thirty years gave us a lifetime of memories, friendships, challenges, lessons, and stories we’ll carry with us forever.
Thank you to everyone who was part of our story along the way. And thank you to everyone who continues to support and show so much love to Alana, me, and Pony Up.
Here’s to whatever comes next.

Needless to say, we’ve got a whole lot going on getting ready for next week, so we decided this was the perfect time to keep things LOCAL and travel .5 miles from home!

We’ll get rolling around 5ish and keep slinging pies until you carb cravers clean us out!

When we started this little adventure called “An Evening in Italy,” we had a feeling people might enjoy slowing life down for a few hours, getting their hands dirty, making some pasta, and sharing a meal together.
Turns out… y’all were ready to play with your food. 😂
The excitement you’ve brought into our little studio has absolutely blown us away.
There’s been flour everywhere.
Some slightly questionable pasta shapes.
A little trash talking.
A LOT of laughing.
And somehow, at the end of it all… some damn good pasta.
And THAT is exactly what we hoped this would become.
No rushing. No staring at your phone. No worrying about what’s next.
Just good people around a table, learning something new, laughing at themselves, and enjoying the moment.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with a few hours of your weekend. We’ve loved every damn minute of it. ❤️

Attention, Pony Up Pizza Family…
Another group of innocent civilians talked themselves into making pasta from scratch with us this weekend!!
There was flour everywhere, and noise complaints from the neighbors from the laughter.
Questionable ravioli folds somehow turned into beautiful plates of pasta.
And by the end of the night, nobody wanted to leave.
Fresh bruschetta.
Handmade ravioli.
Tortelloni.
Spaghetti.
And… tiramisu.
No shortcuts.
No boxed pasta.
No pretending to know what you’re doing.
Just good people, good food, and a few hours that remind you life doesn’t always have to move so damn fast.
To our newest pasta degenerates… thank you for gathering around our table. We cannot wait to cook with you again:)
