What people say
The Waverly Restaurant and Lounge has been reviewed by several newspapers, each providing an insight into the experience at this restaurant. The San Diego Union Tribune published a review in May 2021 where the writer highlighted the restaurant's "excellent drinks and solid food" but found that the service was lacking. Conversely, a review by the Coast News Group in June 2021 praised not only the quality of food but also the attentive and friendly service.
Online reviews from customers are also mixed. Some highlight the delicious food, including vegetarian options, while others mention slow service or wait times for a table. One customer commented on Yelp saying "The ambiance is wonderful as is the staff," while another said "It took over an hour to be served our entrees."
Overall, reviews suggest that Waverly Restaurant and Lounge offers tasty food and a good cocktail selection but there may be variability in service quality depending on when you visit. It is important to note that opinions can differ greatly depending on individual perspective and experience.
